The chapter is required to send the following members to Headquarters leadership programs: the Presidents Academy in January (Chapter President required to attend), the Regional Leadership Academy in February (all executive officers required to attend), the Leadership institute in August (at least 4 chapter members including 2 officers), the Emerging Leaders Program in January/June (2 members).
    • CommunityEdu The entire chapter (including fall2022 associate members) will complete both parts of CommunityEdu by December 1st. Fall 2022 associate members will complete CommunityEdu, and those who joined previously will complete Alcohol for Sanctions.
    • Removal of University Approved Housing Status for Spring 2023.
    • Social Event Requirement and Planning. During the 2022-2023 academic year, the chapter may host up to 6 events (total) with alcohol, provided the events are properly registered. The chapter must submit a plan to host social events, with and without alcohol, by November 15, 2022 (for fall) and January 15, 2023 (for spring).
    • Brotherhood Events. The chapter will host at least one brotherhood event per month. All brotherhood events will be substance-free. A brotherhood programming calendar for the semester will be due by November 15, 2022 (tor fall) and January 15, 2023 (for spring).

    Incident Summary

    A student passed away at the chapter facility due to acute alcohol poisioning on the night of the chapter Big/Little Reveal. Throughout the fall semester, new members were required to drink alcohol, do wall sits, clean without proper cleaning supplies, and were assaulted by other organizational members. The chapter also collected a cash social fee from members to pay for alcohol.
